Miguel Leg Drop: Billboard Producers Ordered 'Adorn' Singer To NOT Perform Dangerous Move
Things aren't looking good for Miguel right now. For one, he's become the butt of "leg drop" jokes across the interwebs. Secondly (and far more seriously), he may be being sued by the unfortunate fan who got a little more than she bargained for at his Billboard performance. If the case does get made, the news that Miguel was ordered not to attempt the move by show producers certainly won't help.
As TMZ reports:
Miguel was ORDERED not to attempt a dangerous jump over the crowd during his performance at the Billboard Music Awards because producers believed it was too dangerous ... but the singer ignored them ... Miguel approached producers before rehearsals and asked if he could try to jump over the crowd during his performance ... but producers shot down the idea, telling Miguel it was just too dangerous.
Though the fan initially seemed fine in post-show interviews, her lawyer argues that she may have suffered a traumatic brain injury as a result.
According to The Guardian, the victim's lawyer clailms that "her medical condition has not improved...and [she] is experiencing "difficulties" now that the "star-struck ... shock" has worn off. "We will determine [how to proceed] after we have feedback from medical providers."
And you can bet that footage of Miguel joking about the incident in an interview and subsequent freestyle won't help his case any.
What do you think? Should Miguel face a lawsuit for his actions? Did he recklessly disregard the warnings from show producers?
