Rick Ross hopes his very public fallout with Reebok after dropping some highly questionable lines on Rocko's "U.O.E.N.O." will stand as a lesson to his MMG family.

"It most definitely was a learning situation and just for the little homeys, just something for them to take away," Ross said in an interview with MTV News. "That's what's important to me, what they take away from it."

After calls from women's rights organizations like UltraViolet, Ross was axed by the sneaker company in April. The move cost Ross an estimated $3-5 million. However, in the interview, he appeared to hold no ill will.

"I'm in a position where if I never sold another shoe, Rozay good. So it's really about what the little homeys who coming next gonna take away from it," he said.

Both Meek Mill and Rockie Fresh have endorsement deals with Puma. Ross seems to think that partnering with Reebok will still be a possibility in the future.

"At the end of the day, once the dust settles we'll just readdress the situation - once the time is right," he said. "As far as myself and Reebok, we got a healthy situation."
