Paris Jackson Suicide Attempt? Michael Jackson's Daughter Rushed to Hospital after Posting 'Cryptic' Tweets on Twitter, Condition Unknown

TMZ reports that Paris Jackson (the daughter of late pop icon, Michael Jackson) was rushed to the hospital early Wednesday morning (June 4) after a possible suicide attempt. Few details surrounding the situation are yet available, but the 15-year-old socialite did post several cryptic tweets on Twitter Tuesday. Young Jackson's condition still remains unknown, although sources say she's "doing okay."

According to TMZ, Paris was taken out of her Calabasas family home on a stretcher at around 2 a.m. Wednesday morning. An ambulance quickly transported her to a local hospital. Rumors suggest she attempted suicide, but such reports remain unconfirmed. The 911 call came in at approximately 1:27 a.m. and the caller allegedly reported a possible overdose. A source connected to the emergency response said Paris may have cut her wrists. Again, these reports remain unconfirmed.

On Tuesday, Paris posted these heartbreaking tweets on her official Twitter page:

@ParisJackson: "I wonder why tears are salty?"

@ParisJackson: "yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away now it looks as though they're here to stay."

Apparently, Jackson has been debating whether or not to change her last name to Rowe. As Mstars originally reported:

[Paris] has been spending more time with her biological mother, Debbie Rowe. According to Sandra Rose, Paris has abandoned the black side of her family and now spends most of her time with Rowe. Sources say Paris hardly ever sees her paternal grandmother Katherine Jackson anymore.

A source connected to the family says Paris "threw a fit" last night after she was told she couldn't go to a Marilyn Manson concert. She allegedly ran into her room screaming and slammed the door.

A source close to Paris claims she has "tried this [a possible suicide attempt] in the past" but "this was far more serious. It was not a cry for help."

Katherine Jackson's attorney Perry Sanders released this statement - "Paris is physically fine and is getting appropriate medical attention." Sanders adds, "Being a sensitive 15 year old is difficult no matter who you are. It is especially difficult when you lose the person closest to you."
