Nick Minaj To Sell Moscato For 'Love And Hip Hop' Exec-Owned Brand, Myx Fusions
Remember Moscato? A few years ago, before Molly took the hip-hop world by storm, the desert wine was the substance of choice for discerning rappers. Nicki Minaj is looking to bring it back to the forefront. She's signed an endorsement deal with Myx Fusions, a brand co-owned by Love and Hip Hop executive producer Mona Scott-Young.
"Nicki is an innovative trendsetter and has the ability to energize the masses," Scott-Young said in a press release.
"She embodies everything that Myx Fusions represents - style, spontaneity and the desire to push the envelope and inspire change. Both brands are perfectly aligned."
On top of being the co-owner of Myx Fusions and executive producer of Love and Hip Hop, Scott-Young is also the Chief Marketing Officer of the brand.
As for Minaj, the move only expands the Young Money rapper's web of endorsements. She has already inked deals with Adidas, Pepsi and Mac. Minaj has grown her wealth via a number of savvy business deals after garnering major buzz with her mixtape Beam Me Up, Scotty. The diva has starred in commercials and even had a stint on American Idol as a judge (though she has confirmed she will not be returning to the show).
What do you think of the news that Nicki Minaj will be hawking Moscato? Do you drink Moscato already? Would you be open to try the kind from Love and Hip Hop producer Mona Scott-Young? What kind of name is Myx Fusions? Seems redundant, right?
