Wu-Tang Clan New Song 'All In The Family,' Rappers Release New 2013 Track from New Album 'A Better Tomorrow'

The Wu-Tang Clan officially released a new single, "Family Reunion," in promotion of the rap group's upcoming album "A Better Tomorrow."

The Staten Island-based entourage debuted the song this week on New York CIty hip-hop station Hot 97. The track features Wu-Tang members RZA, Method Man, Ghostface Killah and Masta Killa rapping over a sample of another "Family Reunion," the R&B single released by The O'Jays in 1975.

The song is the second track released in the lead up to "A Better Tomorrow." The group sent out "Execution in Autumn" last month. Although "Execution" is a previously unreleased single from an older recording session, "Family Reunion" is the first example of music recorded in 2013.

Much of the track follows a sentimental mood, featuring the group recollecting good times. Masta Killa raps "Aunt Cherry baked pies, surprise / Johnny showed up / You can tell from the smell in the air, something is rolled up / It's love, peace and happiness with the joy of laughter / Cameras are flashing as the moments are being captured."

The track also pays homage to former Wu-Tang member Ol' Dirty Bastard, who died after a drug overdose in 2004.

"A Better Tomorrow" will be the crew's first release since "8 Diagrams" in 2007. All four of the aforementioned members have released solo albums in the meantime. Method Man's "Crystal Meth" will reportedly drop later in 2013.

"A Better Tomorrow" not only marks the return of the "killa beez" to the studio, it also commemorates the twentieth anniversary of the group's renowned debut, 1993's "Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)."

The group has several performances locked down, including this weekend at Bonnaroo next weekend.
