Paris Jackson and Marilyn Manson: Rocker Reaches out to Michael Jackson's Daughter after Suicide Attempt, 'You're On My Guest List Anytime'
Marilyn Manson reached out to Paris Jackson, Michael Jackson's 15 y.o. daughter after her reported suicide attempt.
Many rumors were floating around following Jackson's hospitalization as to why she would attempt such an act, including stress from testifying during her family's multimillion dollar lawsuit against concert promoter AEG. However, one unnamed source close to the family suggested that the teenager was upset because she wasn't allowed to attend a Manson concert in Los Angeles.
The rocker released a statement for Jackson, saying "I hope you feel better. You will be on my guest list anytime you want."
Compassion is not an emotion that Manson has become known for, as he is usually used as a target for blame. Following the 1998 school shootings at Columbine, many suggested Manson was partially to blame when evidence surfaced that the shooters were fans of his music. Few musicians have been so frequently used as examples during censorship hearings.
No one from the Jackson clan has tried to implicate Manson in Paris's hospitalization, and grandmother Katherine Jackson said "she's suffered with the loss of her father."
Jackson left a series of suggestive tweets, including "i wonder why tears are salty?" and a passage from the mournful Beatles track "Yesterday" before 911 was called. Reports indicate that she had cut her wrists with a meat cleaver, as well as ingesting nearly 20 ibuprofen pills. Doctors say Jackson is expected to fully recover.
When she leaves the hospital (hopefully soon), she'll be able to catch Manson when he embarks on a co-headlining tour with Alice Cooper.
