Adam 'Pacman' Jones Punches Woman VIDEO: NFL Athlete Cut From Cincinnati Bengals?

Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones was caught on camera punching a woman in the face after she allegedly threw a beer in his face when he refused to take a picture with her.

The NFL athlete claimed that he was only "protecting himself." According to the police report, Jones was arrested last Wednesday and charged with assault. Jones was released on his own recognizances and is scheduled for an arraignment today.

Jones tweeted, "Just got arrested for protecting myself, I will not let this break me or change what I have work so hard for."

Jones' agent, Peter Schaffer, who told NFL.com's Albert Breer, "They were drunk, giving him the business; he was trying to relax," Schaffer said. "They kept pushing, and then they finally came up and said, 'Let's take a picture.' ... He's thinking, 'The last thing I gotta do is take a picture with two drunk girls,' so he says no."

He adds the tape will help Jones' side of the story, "I've talked to three or four witnesses who corroborate Adam's story," Schaffer said, police have not spoken to any witnesses, "This is ridiculous, an absolute shame."

Jones' time on the Bengals may be over since this is not the first incident an athlete having a domestic dispute with a woman. Former Bengals Chad Johnson was cut by the Miami Dolphin after he head butted his ex-wife Evelyn Lozada in 2012. Johnson has yet to be picked up since by an NFL team.
