It's no surprise that artists miss and adore late singer Aaliyah. From Jay-Z to Drake the music industries best have used samples of her vocals to pay homage to the late Princess of Pop and R&B who was gone to soon. Chris Brown is the latest artist to use prerecorded samples of Aaliyah's vocals for "They Don't Know" the latest single of his upcoming album "X." Chris chatted with MTV News to explain the black and white yet vibrant video for the track, featuring graphics of the "Are You That Somebody?" singer.

According to Complex, Brown and his crew hit Compton May 12 to film a tribute video for the fallen singer. About 20 other dudes donning '90s "stereotypical" West Coast uniform joined Breezy, reported Complex. It's all very Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

"[I'm] bringing both worlds together and trying to uplift the poverty side of the community and show them where I'm from," Chris said at a press conference for the 2013 BET Awards earlier this year. "I'm from Virginia, but everybody comes from a broken home or being broke-I remember when I was."

X will be released July 16.
