Cher Lloyd 'It's All Good': New Song 2013 Featuring Ne-Yo Premieres, New Album 2013 to Follow?
"Want U Back" singer Cher Lloyd has debuted a new song. Yesterday (June 19), "It's All Good" premiered on On Air With Ryan Seacrest.
The duet with R&B artist Ne-Yo is a calmer, more subdued track for the notoriously bratty, loud British songstress. The track blends pop, R&B and a bit of dance music, though the slow tempo gives it an almost-ballad approach.
Compared to her hits such as "Swagger Jagger," "It's All Good" has a bit more heart and a much brighter message.
"It's like falling down when everyone's watching, / In the final round but your heart is still used, / It's like shouting out when nobody can hear you, / But when it's all said and done, it's all good," the chorus goes. The message of keeping a positive disposition despite fallbacks is surely a lesson Lloyd's fans could take to heart.

"It's All Good" was made for Fruttare, frozen fruit snacks that have marketing that focuses on keeping a positive attitude.
The song may also be the reported first single off Cher Lloyd's new 2013 album. The follow-up to 2011's Sticks + Stones has reportedly been in the works since February. In an interview with Huffington Post last month, Lloyd had this to say about her sophomore effort:
"I feel like the second album, to me, is exactly what I wanted to do. If I wanted to curse or whatever, I could curse because I felt like it in the moment - and it's something that I can be really proud of. I've worked so hard, so hopefully, fingers crossed, this album will be the one that makes me."
A video for "It's All Good" is sure to follow the song's debut, and then an album for Lloyd will be due out by the end of the year.
