Amanda Bynes Twitter 2013: New Nose Job Plastic Surgery, Record Contract Not with Chinga Changa
Amanda Bynes's 2.2 million Twitter followers have noticed a lack of updates from the troubled starlet lately, most notably, the actress hasn't posted any photos of herself since late last month.
Late last night, the Easy A actress explained why: she had just gone under the knife to get another nose job.
"I was born with a webbing in between my eyes. That was a birth defect that I had surgically removed! I've never been more excited! Now I... need a few more surgeries to shave the bridge down to correct the rest of mu nose so I can start the next chapter of my career! Music!" she announced.
Bynes continued, "I consider myself a hero to have sufferered 27 years with a birth defect and to just now have it surgically removed! I had to share my... story with you so the media would stop using old photos of me and stop writing lies about me having odd behavior when... I was just embarrassed to share the fact that I had a birth defect. As soon as I had it removed I couldn't wait to talk about it!"
According to Bynes, her doctors are "heroes" and have fixed children with cleft lips. Check the end of her Twitter stream-of-conscious below:
When researching "webbing between eyes," the only thing that really comes up is Bynes herself. Further research shows that she may actually be talking about epicanthal folds, according to Dr. Thomas Lamperti from the Seattle Rhinoplasty Blog.
Though the doctor says it is not technically a nose job, there is a surgery to fix the "webbed" appearance. It is most common as a part of Asian eyelid surgery.
Bynes also briefly addressed her burgeoning music career. She denied getting a deal from Chinga Changa records, as rumors have previously stated. However, she reportedly got an offer from a bigger label and will start cutting an album once she's finished with her rhinoplasty.
