Anthony Kiedis Fights Bodyguard [VIDEO]: Rolling Stones Security Denies Red Hot Chili Peppers Singer Access into Philadelphia Hotel
Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman Anthony Kiedis was about to walk into the Four Seasons Hotel in Philadelphia on Friday where he and his band were staying but was stopped by a bodyguard. This security detail denied the singer access into the hotel because he did not know who he was an assumed he was trying to visit the other band that was staying there, The Rolling Stones. A brief altercation between the two imposing men took place and other security had to step in to break them up. It looks like this bodyguard was not a RHCP fan!
According to TMZ, sources claimed that the Rolling Stones were leaving the Four Seasons Hotel at the same time that the "Under The Bridge" was trying to get into the building. So it is assumed that the security guard thought that Kiedis was a fan of the Rolling Stones trying to get closer to Mick and the rest of the guys.
The Four Seasons explained to the media that this security guard did not work for them. Also, a source close to the Rolling Stones said that the bodyguard did not work for the legendary band either. This Rolling Stones insider speculated that it was possible that this aggressive man was hired to beef up the band's security in during their time in Philadelphia.
As you can see from the following footage, the altercation goes on for a little bit and then Kiedis and the bodyguard end it with a handshake after a conversation.
