Mumford & Sons Reschedule Tour Dates After Ted Dwane's Blood Clot Surgery, Folk-Rockers Announce Full English Tour
Following cancelled tour dates due to bassist Ted Dwane's blood clot and emergency surgery, Mumford & Sons have announced rescheduled dates for the four U.S. shows.
The band confirmed the following new concert dates on their Facebook page today (June 24).
Sept. 16: New Orleands, Louisiana, Mardi Gras World
Sept. 17: Woodlands, Texas, Cynthia Woods Pavillion
Sept. 18: Dallas, Texas, GEXA Energy Pavillion
Sept. 20: Bonner Springs, Kansas, Cricket Wireless Amphitheatre
No supporting acts have been announced for the rescheduled shows.
However, Bear's Den and The Vaccines will be hitting the road with Mumford & Sons this summer. In addition to the newly scheduled shows, Mumford announced the Full English Tour as a "wildcard." The group will start in Toronto and go through the Midwest and more, beginning in late August.

Sept. 10: Atlanta, Georgia, Centennial Olympic Park
Sept. 11: Simpsonville, South Carolina, Charter Amphitheatre
To purchase tickets for the Full English Tour, fans must register for an Invitation Onsale here. Registration goes through July 3 and invitations will be sent out July 8.
Most importantly, the band gave an update on Dwane after his surgery. "We are pleased to report that Ted is making a steady recovery from his recent operation; thank you so much for your messages of support," the band stated.
