Lil Snupe's family and friends can rest a little easier tonight.

According to a press release from the Winnfield City Police Department, Tony Holden turned himself into authorities at 10:15 a.m. "Winnfield's Chief of Police Johnny Ray Carpenter and Assistant Chief Russell Jones were able to take Holden into custody without incident," said Charles Curry from the police department.

Holden has been booked into Winnfield City Jail for charges of first degree murder, armed robbery and illegal possession of a firearm.

There is no bond set for him as of this time.

Investigators are still looking for more details regarding the shooting deal of Lil Snupe, born Addarren Ross.

Ross was murdered early Thursday morning. Holden, following losing a video game gambling bet to Ross, shot the rising rapper twice in the torso. Holden reportedly did so over about $1300.

Winnfield police deemed Holden as the main suspect in the shooting altercation on Friday (June 21). Holden was on he run from police for four days before turning himself in to authorities.

Ross was 18 years old at the time of his death and a protégé of rapper Meek Mill. He was signed to Mill's Dream Chaser's label after the rapper listened to just a short snippet from a mixtape Lil Snupe gave to him.

Though his life and career were short, Lil Snupe's promise as a young rapper was well known and has caused shockwaves throughout the rapping community and Louisiana.

His mixtape R.N.I.C. was the only thing Lil Snupe released before his untimely death, although some music of his will reportedly be released posthumously.
