Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton UPDATE: Country Couple Deals With Difficult Situation on Twitter, 'Remove Snakes and Scorpions!'

According to Blake Shelton's twitter, it would appear (we might be wrong) that "Mama's Broken Heart" songstress Miranda Lambert is making Blake Shelton take on the tasks in which any husband is bound to do: take care of pests that make their way into the house.

These pests are not normal ones, however. Most people when they hear that statement above might think, "He must be killing spiders, what is so interesting about that?" Well folks, I don't live in Oklahoma, so I guess I am not sure if this is a just another day kind of situation, but Shelton sent out this tweet today letting the world know what exactly he is dealing with today.

Scorpions and snakes... After reading this tweet I immediately thought to myself, "What do they live in an Egyptian tomb? This just goes to show how much the "Boys Round Here" artist loves his wife, taking care of dangerous pests like these and keeping a smile about him the entire time. Out here in Minnesota the worst thing we need to deal with are skunks and the occasional wolf. Wolves don't meander near houses, however. We have never needed to deal with anything like this before.

The country hashtag at the end of that tweet is well deserved. Bravo Blake Shelton, your country image for me just went from backwoods fishing on the lake on a flatbed truck with beer, to dusty trail John Wayne town with the saloon up the street complete with a sheriff. Either one is country, regardless.

Hope that problem takes care of itself soon. Just for fun I decided to do a little research into scorpions in Oklahoma. Turns out getting stung by one of these things isn't as terrible or life threatening as they are depicted in movies. There are poisonous kinds but the ones in Oklahoma will generally just leave you with a big welt, according to a study conducted by the University of Oklahoma. You have to scroll down a bit to find the scorpion section, but it is really interesting to know that there hasn't been a scorpion sting related death in 30 years in the United States.
