Jay-Z's new album won't drop until July 4 (for Samsung users) and July 7 (for everyone else), but that doesn;t mean that HOV isn't spewing out tidbits of Magna Carta Holy Grail as fast as he possibly can. The latest from Jigga is the lyrics sheet for "Oceans (feat. Frank Ocean)."

Check it out below:

I don't think it's a coincidence that both Jay-Z and Kanye West will release songs this year that send up the idea of post-racialism by blatantly referencing slavery and the struggle for civil rights alongside images of their own wealth.

Where Kanye West's "New Slaves" is a non-stop barrage of righteous anger, Jay only references it twice in his song. Interestingly enough, they use the exact same reference points:  Billie Holiday's "Strange Fruit" (Kanye: "I see the blood on the leaves" Jay-Z: "On the holiday playing strange fruit") and high fashion/cotton-picking analogies (Kanye: "They wasn't satisfied unless I picked the cotton myself" Jay-Z: "Boat dock in front of Hermes picking cotton").

Either way, this looks like Jay just my be back in his golden era form. Since, as we know, few things make a Jay-Z song better than a big a** boat.
