Janelle Monae 'QUEEN' Remixed By Prince, The Purple One Re-Works Erykah Badu-assisted 'Electric Lady' Track [VIDEO]

Oh, boy. Oh, boy. With every new piece of news surrounding Janelle Monae's The Electric Lady, I think it's impossible for me to get any more excited. And I am always proved wrong. The latest news from Janelle's impossibly funky world is this Soundcloud remix of her Erykah Badu-featuring track "Q.U.E.E.N."

No big deal, right? Remixes are half the reason Soundcloud exists. Except I forgot to tell you THIS REMIX IS BY PRINCE. (I think I actually shouted while writing that.)

The track contains signature Prince synth-stabs, a bass wobble straight from "Gett Off" and drums that are perfect reprenstations of The Purple One in his "P*ssy Control" era.

As great as "Q.U.E.E.N." is on it's own, they might have been better off giving this one to Prince in the first place.
