Niall Horan, Zoe Whelan Dating Rumors 2013 [PHOTO]: One Direction's Irish Heartthrob's 'Secret' Girlfriend? Model Talks Death Threats & Hints at Romance

No matter your relationship with any One Direction member, you will most likely receive death threats and other verbal assaults from fans, ladies. In aspiring model Zoe Whelan's case, her rumored relationship with band member Niall Horan has not made her Twitter feed that inviting. But it might get worse now that the 19-year-old model dropped a huge, confusing hint into the relationship rumors surrounding her and Niall.

When asked by the Irish Herald about her relationship with the One Direction singer, Whelan responded, "It's a secret really."

She managed to get away from the subject but still complimented the band. "I love listening to music," she said. "And I do like their songs." 

As most interviews with the girls who have been (or rumored to have been) involved with the 1D boys, Whelan spoke a bit about receiving death threats online.

"A lot of girls have said nice things. But you get nasty and mean comments. I've had a few death threats which is really scary," she said. "I just ignore them; I try not to pay them any attention."

"I still get hate mail and death threats," she said recently, according to The Irish Mirror. "I'm strong though and stuff like that just makes you stronger. To think that people spend so much time being so negative, writing nasty things and doing mock up photographs and setting up haters of Zoe Whelan pages, it's really sad."

As of now, Zoe is focusing on her modeling career and trying to stay away from the Niall rumors.

"I'm loving modeling at the moment," the 5'7" beauty exclaimed at a launch event for the "No Nonsense Top Diver" Smartphone app. "I've just got my braces off so I feel more confident."
