Mary Mary & Dottie Peoples: Gospel Festival Performance At San Diego County Fair On June 29
Mary Mary, renowned gospel duo, is set to perform alongside fellow gospel artist, Dottie Peoples, at the 9th Annual Gospel Festival, which is being held at San Diego County Fair at the Del Mar Fairgrounds in California on June 29.
The performance will be taking place at 7:30 p.m. at the Heineken Grandstand stage on the fairgrounds. The concert is free with admission to the Fair and also offers reserved tickets for those who are interested.
Other gospel-related performances will be taking place throughout the day on the five different stages on the fairgrounds. These performers include Aqua Quartet, Mark Allen Watkins, Jason Brown, Dansiea, Jennifer Kelle, Bayview Gospel Dance Troupe, Grace Covenant Christian Church, Bishop John W. Haynes & Chance, Men 4 Christ, Archie Robinson & New Birth Praise, Val Wilson Band, Higher Authority, Extreme Praise of Extreme Gospel Worship Center, Nu ViZion, J. Pierre, Adopted, Baptized, Dre Da Flame, BloodtypeG, G.A.M.B.L.E., Chasity, and Lorenzo Johnson & Praizum.
In addition to various musical performances, this Fair year's fair presents the theme, 'Game On!' It will offer fun and games including card games, board games, game shows, video games and more. Specific game-related activities include antique car races, beach buggies and tuff trucks, a performance by Circle 7, family feud fun, Magic: the Gathering playing cards and more. Prizes will be available to winners throughout the Fair.
It "is the largest annual event in San Diego County and the fourth largest fair in North America, drawing more than 1.5 million visitors annually," according to the Fair website. The fair has been open since June 8 and will continue running until July 4.
Admission is free for children under 5, $8 for children (ages 6- 12) and Seniors, and $14 for adults (13 +). Discounted tickets are also offered to large groups. On Saturday, June 29, the Fair will be open from 10 a.m. until midnight. Musical performances begin immediately with the opening of the Fair. On-site parking fees are in effect during the fair and costs about $10 per vehicle. Free parking and shuttle services are also available.
