Popular rapper Big Sean will release his highly-anticipated sophomore album "Hall of Fame" on August 27, 2013 - and the new record has Eminem's official seal of approval. The GOOD Music crooner revealed in a recent interview with Hot 97 that Slim Shady was "shocked" at how awesome his new beats were. Will a "classic Detroit" collaboration make its way onto the new album?

The "Finally Famous" MC worked with several other hotshots in the industry for this follow-up album - "Every person or MC that I've respected musically, that I've sat and played this album for has respected me back and been like, 'Man, you bout to murk...'"

Big Sean also thanked producer No I.D. for his amazing contribution to the new record - "No I.D. is somebody who will teach you as much as he can and let you know any secrets he know... Because he wants you to tell your secrets too and ya'll put your ideas together and make something better... He is damn near the ambassador of this hip-hop rap culture."

The "Mercy" rapper also looked to "Without Me" superstar Slim Shady for some advice... and the feedback he got was a huge thumbs-up:

"I told him, if it's weak, just tell me to cut it off. I ain't got to play the whole thing. And he was like, 'I'll definitely tell you.' He listened to every song straight through. [Eminem said] 'This is an awesome album. I ain't never been surprised like this.'"
