EDC Las Vegas 2014 NOT Two Weekends: Priority Ticket Access for 2013 Electric Daisy Carnival Purchasers, Dates TBA
The recent rumor that North America's largest music festival, EDC Las Vegas, will be expanding to two weekends in 2014 has finally been proven false!
While buzz about what's in store for next year's Electric Daisy Carnival began circulating early last week (even before EDC Las Vegas 2013 concluded) Pasquale Rotella, founder of Insomniac Events, has confirmed via Twitter today that EDC Las Vegas will remain a single weekend event in 2014.
EDCLV 2014 is only 1 wknd. Hoping to announce on sale and fest dates sooner than later.

Although the ticket sale and event dates for the 18th annual EDC Vegas have not yet been unveiled, Rotella revealed another exciting piece of information for one of next year's most highly anticipated music festivals with another tweet:
EDC2013 ticket purchasers (CC holders), will have exclusive and priority access to #EDC2014 Las Vegas presale tix. On sale date tba. — Pasquale Rotella (@PasqualeRotella) July 1, 2013
The credit card holder/ticket purchaser will get primary access to the first crop of 2014 Vegas tickets, so if you're the attendee who volunteered to charge all of your friend's tickets this past year, good karma is finally headed your way!
The untrue expansion rumors were first reported by the Examiner when they reported that "sources at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway claim that Insomniac has already finalized plans to hold the three-day festival for two full weekends in June of 2014."
As Rotella cleared up this confusion via social media, his Twitter page also revealed a few other details regarding next year's EDC experience. Unlike his Ultra Music Festival competitors who live streamed each DJ's set during their two weekend Miami event in 2013 (and has since decided to return to a single weekend in 2014), Rotella has no plans of streaming EDC online next year.
"Not saying never but as of now not feeling streaming. Being there is the way to experience it.." the founder of Insomniac Events tweeted.
On June 30th, Pasquale Rotella also revealed his eager ambitions to make EDC NYC, a still relatively new destination for Electric Daisy Carnival, a better overall experience in years to come:
"I want New York headliners to know I'm working #edc ny being better. It's been difficult cause of space and hours...but I'm committed and it'll happen. Every new city we travel 2 has challenges. I'm still very happy w/edcny but has lots of room 2 grow!"
The next summer destination for Electric Daisy Carnival this year is London! As Mstars News previously reported, EDC will be hitting Europe this summer as it goes global for the first time with EDC London 2013. This brings Electric Daisy Carnival's total editions worldwide to five (including Las Vegas, New York, Chicago, and Puerto Rico.
The single-day London event is set for July 20 in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, the site of last year's Summer Olympics, and will be produced in partnership with storied U.K. festival brand Cream.
Keep an eye out for the 2014 EDC event and ticket sale dates, which are still "TBA!"
