Timbaland Opens Up [VIDEO]: Super Producer Talks 'Magna Carta Holy Grail', Diagreeing With Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake's 20/20 Experience II, and Kanye Dissing 'Suit & Tie'

Timbaland is having an epic year.  The super producer already executively produced one of the top albums of 2013 in February, with Justin Timberlake's The 20/20 Experience, now he adds his talent to Jay-Z's Magna Carta Holy Grail. In a recent interview with Revolt TV, Timbaland opened up about working on both albums; he addressed Kanye dissing "Suit & Tie," and The 20/20 Experience 2, and talked for the first time about a rough patch in he and Jay-Z's personal relationship. .

Timbaland may have executively produced Jay-Z's MCHG, however the project was not as seamless as it appeared in the commercials.  Timbaland and Jay-Z were actually at odds prior to reuniting to work on MCHG. Their more than a decade long relationship hit a rough patch and the album was really them coming to work together as a team again.

Timbaland said that MCHG wasn't even in the works.  The album came about while he was in Jungle Studios working on Beyonce's album. However after playing two songs for Jay-Z, the road to MCHG began.

"This is Jay-Z's first big album of the new millennium," Timbaland told Revolt TV.
