Of Montreal New Album 2013: Hear "Fugitive Air" The First Track Off 'lousy with sylvianbriar'

Here's the deal. I was big into Of Montreal in high school. Like, srsly. Their Summer of Love-aping early work and SAT word-filled dance tracks spoke directly to my Floridian teenage heart. However, upon revisiting the band, the dance tracks seemed so fey as to be embarrasing while the early albums held together relatively well.

(It should come as no surprise that I don't speak about anything post-Hissing Fauna. I know they've released three albums since then, but they are tuneless freakouts that have effectively ruined my opinion on the band.)

However, I may have to dust off my high school obsession. If this new track "Fugitive Air" is any indication, OM may be returning to the Elephant Six sound of albums like Cherry Peel  on their latest lousy with sylvianbriar. Guys, there are very few things I could wan t more.
