Modest Mouse, The Faint, Twin Shadow To Play Free Concert At US Open Of Surfing

2009 party anyone? That has to have been said when the higher ups at Vans were picking the lineup for the US Open of Surfing's free concert. Modest Mouse, The Faint and Twin Shadow have all been selected to perform. (Don't get me wrong, it's a killer bill. Just an interesting time to make it.)
The Open runs July 20-28 in Huntington Beach, CA. The Faint and Twin Shadow perform on July 25. Modest Mouse performs July 26. They will be supported by FMLYBAND and Matt Costa, respectively.
The entire event is completely free and open to the public, so -in spite of my light ribbing above- if you are in Huntington Beach, don't act like you have anything better to do on a Thursday.
