Justin Bieber 'Heartbreaker:' The Key Perfume Commercial Previews New Song 2013 [WATCH], Release Date Still Unknown

Beliebers who begged Justin Bieber for his new single "Heartbreaker" on Twitter yesterday (July 15) got a little bit of relief. In the new ad for Bieber's perfume The Key, the new song 2013 was teased, giving fans a small taste of what exactly "Heartbreaker" may sound like.

Shortly before 4 p.m. yesterday, the Biebz tweeted "as promised - here is the gift to you - #TheKey #UnlockTheDream," with a link to his new fragrance's website, justinbieberthekey.com. Upon visiting the site, a 31-second advertisement is shown for the eau de parfum, and the backing track for his much-anticipated single "Heartbreaker" is used to soundtrack the commercial.

A laid-back, wobbling acoustic guitar riff and light cymbal taps make up the instrumentation of the ad. Bieber softly croons "Heartbreaker, heartbreaker," several times throughout the backing track. The whole production is a slow jam unlike anything fans have yet to hear from Bieber, and seems to be a part of his never-ending journey to be seen as a mature pop artist instead of a teen idol.

The commercial itself for The Key shows Bieber pulling up to a swanky hotel in a convertible. Bieber gets a key from the front desk and wanders the halls while heading to his romantic interest's hotel room. The young woman, meanwhile, is dreaming of cakes, bells and concierges while gripping Bieber's new fragrance.

The Key is Justin Bieber's third fragrance.

"Heartbreaker" has yet to receive a release date, although yesterday Beiber teased the song would drop "soon... very soon" on his Twitter. The elusive new single will be released in a "unique manner," according to Bieber's manager Scooter Braun and is allegedly about Bieber's on-again, off-again girlfriend Selena Gomez.
