Comic Con 2013 in San Diego produced another big announcement. The Avengers 2 movie has gotten its official title of Avengers: Age of Ultron. Director Joss Whedon and Marvel announced the title of The Avengers sequel, which featured the reveal of Ultron, the main villain in the next Avengers movie.

The official logo was revealed with "Summer 2015" at the bottom. Maybe the big surprise for fans is that the previously rumored Thanos doesn't seem to be in the plans as the main villain in the second Avengers movie.

Obviously, there are still a lot of questions that remained unanswered. One point brought up by Slashfilm.com is that Age of Ultron is a relatively new storyline in the comic book. So how closely will the movie studios align with a new story? The villain Ultron was designed by Ant-Man, who according to Slashfilm, is getting his own movie to be directed by Edgar Wright.

Further creating more rumors is that Ultron is the creator of a character named Vision. Why is this important? Well, because Vin Diesel has been heavily rumored to be cast in that part in The Avengers sequel. We are still very early in The Avengers 2 news, but the rumor mill will surely pick up as the release date grows closer.

Vin Diesel has already been asked about the possibility of him playing Vision in The Avengers sequel. Diesel, of course, didn't come out and confirm any rumors. However, the action star has been rumored to be playing Vision, Thanos, or even Rocket Raccoon.
