As most of you know, arguably the biggest piece of news coming from this year's Comic Con in San Diego was probably the announcement from director Zack Snyder of the Man of Steel sequel during the Warner Brothers panel. Snyder revealed that the next Henry Cavill-starring film would also feature Batman. With this announcement, some sources are saying that the film will actually be a match-up between the legendary DC Comics characters and will either be titled Superman Vs. Batman or vice versa.

Check out this footage from the panel where Snyder, with help from Man of Steel actor Harry Lennix, revealed the sequel news:

David Goyer, the film's writer, recently revealed that he believes that the sequel will not be called Man of Steel 2 nor Superman and Batman. Instead, he shared his thoughts on the likely title:

"So over in Hall H at the Warner Bros., I guess most people know now, at the end of the Warner Bros. panel Zack came out and he brought Harry Lennix, who plays General Swanwick in Man of Steel and we -- actually, Harry read a bit from [The Dark Knight Returns] and so the next film we're making, we're already in pre-production, comes out in summer of 2015. We're actually not sure whether the title is Superman vs. Batman or Batman vs. Superman but yes, it's -- that rematch, that combination, the two guys onscreen and that's happening."

Snyder also confirmed his excitement for the sequel: "I'm so excited to begin working again with Henry Cavill in the world we created, and I can't wait to expand the DC Universe in this next chapter. Let's face it, it's beyond mythological to have Superman and our new Batman facing off, since they are the greatest Super Heroes in the world."

Who do you think will play Batman? Who do you think could take on Henry Cavill?
