Hey guys! Come listen to Abel Tesfaye (aka The Weeknd) sing over a beat he didn't steal!
The Weeknd teamed up with French producer Kavinsky for a remix of his track "Odd Look" and it is pretty stellar. It's probably the most straightforward Weeknd song I've heard since "High For This" and the blending of Kavinsky's 80s-inspired wall of synth with Weeknd's tripped-out falsetto works way better than you think it would.
It sounds like Chris Brown singing on a street corner in the Blade Runner universe. Trust me, that's a good thing.
