Kate Middleton Royal Baby Boy Name, Prince of Cambridge [PHOTOS]: World Waits on Prince William & Wife's Choice for Son, Grandparents Don't Even Know
Just one day after giving birth to the future King of England, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge brought their royal son home. While posing for the hoard of cameras and answering some brief questions outside of the Lindo Wing at St. Mary's hospital in London, Prince William revealed that they have yet to give the newborn Prince of Cambridge a name. "We're still working on a name," he told reporters. So when will we find out the name of the new Prince? According to Kate's parents Carole and Michael Middleton, nobody knows!
In the past, it has taken some royals plenty of time to name their children. For instance, William received his name about a week after being born and his father, Charles, had to wait a month before receiving a name!
"You have to remember they are naming the future king or queen. So you won't want to see something silly, like Queen Suri, which would be fine if you are playing dress-up, but it is not quite appropriate for when you are the queen of 16 nations. They are going to be very careful when naming their child, so we will see something traditional," Victoria Arbiter, ABC's royals contributor explained before the sex of the baby was revealed and a girl was favored among the public.
Reports claim that William's father, Charles, visited is grandchild after getting home from the hospital. Prince Charles made the following statement upon the arrival of his first grandchild:
"Both my wife and I are overjoyed at the arrival of my first grandchild. It is an incredibly special moment for William and Catherine and we are so thrilled for them on the birth of their baby boy.
"Grandparenthood is a unique moment in anyone's life, as countless kind people have told me in recent months, so I am enormously proud and happy to be a grandfather for the first time and we are eagerly looking forward to seeing the baby in the near future."
It doesn't look like the Queen came to visit her great-grandson just yet but she did say that she was "delighted" at his arrival.
