Robin Thicke 'Blurred Lines' No. 1 for Seventh Straight Week, Longest Reign at Top of Charts of 2013, Miley Cyrus Raises 'We Can't Stop' to No. 2 on Billboard Hot 100

Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" isn't just sitting atop the Billboard Hot 100 for a seventh straight week. The sexy, controversial hit is dominating the charts for radio play and digital songs.

"Blurred Lines" now holds the title of the longest-running No. 1 of 2013, passing up Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' "Thrift Shop," which sat on the top of the charts for six weeks during the winter.

Long runs on the top of the Hot 100 have become somewhat commonplace. Maroon 5's "One More Night" topped the chart for nine weeks last year, Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe" dominated last summer with nine weeks at No. 1 as well. Baauer's "Harlem Shake" held the top spot for five weeks this year.

Though over the last three weeks the Hot 100 has been relatively stagnant, this week there were quite a few shake ups. With the help of her Smilers, Miley Cyrus' comeback single "We Can't Stop" rose to No. 2, tying "The Climb" for the former Hanna Montana stars highest chart performance.

Imagine Dragons' "Radioactive" regained some momentum, rising to No. 3. Daft Punk and Pharrell's "Get Lucky" took quite the tumble. After sitting in the second spot for five weeks, the feel good, mixed genre single fell to No. 4.

Somewhat surprisingly, Bruno Mars' throwback track "Treasure" rose two spots, rounding out the top five with a little more vintage flavor.

The rest of the top 10 on the Hot 100 includes the same songs as recent weeks. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' "Can't Hold Us" falls down out of the top five at No. 6, Florida Georgia Line's "Cruise" sits at No. 7, Jay Z and Justin Timberlake's "Holy Grail" holds at No. 8, Anna Kendrick's "Cups" rises to No. 9 and Timberlake's solo hit "Mirror" falls to No. 10.

No new songs reached the top 10 this week.

Will Cyrus get her first No. 1 hit next week? Will Thick continue his No. 1 stronghold? Billboard will release the numbers next Wednesday (July 31).
