Anderson Cooper is known for his in depth reports on socially charged topics. Racism is America is one of the consistent themes of discussion for him CNN AC360 specials. Anderson Copper hosted a enlightening special Wednesday night, on racism in America, in which rapper Nas was Skyped in to offer his words of wisdom regarding the state of race relations in America.

While Nas has been know to be vocal about societal issues on a host of his songs, live television was no different. The Queens native was candid about he felt about people who say that racism is not alive and those who justify the non-existence of racism in America by the fact that we have a bi-racial president. Nas told Cooper:

"We tend to judge each other. If I don't know something about you, Anderson, I'm going to judge you based on a bad experience I had with another white person. If you don't know me, and you walk down the street and you see me, my pants are hanging, you're going to assume the worst. We need to learn how to deal with each other basically. At this point, America is looking like barbarians."
