Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, has reportedly been successful in her attempts to breastfeed her newborn son, George Alexander Louis. On Wednesday, Prince William accompanied his wife and their baby on a trip to Bucklebury where the new family has been ever since, at Kate's parents' house. The Duchess was seen leaving her Kensington Palace cottage wearing a dress designed especially for breastfeeding mothers. This dress has now sold out online.

"It would be fair to say that Prince George has a healthy appetite. He is a very hungry little boy," a source explained. "I gather there were some difficulties at first - there often can be, as new mums get a little tense.

"But after some help from the midwife, they both caught on very quickly. As far as I can tell, Kate finds it very relaxing and George is just like any other little baby. But don't expect Kate to be photographed breastfeeding. She does not want to become a pin-up for the breastfeeding lobby."

In other, less personal news about Prince George, former Spice Girl and current mother of 4, Victoria Beckham has reportedly contacted the Duchess in order to set up a Royal playdate!

Kate and Victoria struck up a friendship during the Duchess' pregnancy, so Mrs. Beckham is keeping it going with this playdate suggestion. A source also said that Victoria hopes to give the Princess some advice on motherhood.

"Victoria and Kate have had a strong friendship for some time now and Victoria was very keen to offer a helping hand," the source said.  "She knows all about raising children in front of the media and the pressures it can have on family life."

"Sadly, Kate's not in a position to go out for regular mummy lunches with her friends," the insider continued. "It's more likely that Victoria will visit Kate at her home with baby Harper. She thinks their kids could develop a great friendship in the future, just like her and Kate."
