Miley Cyrus recently posted an audio track to her YouTube account of a one-minute, 38-second cover of "On My Own." This song is a stand out track from the musical and movie Les Miserables, sung by the heartbroken character Eponine during the tumultuous happenings in the story. So why did Miley decided to cover this song and make it public? Will she be doing a cover album soon? Perhaps she's trying out for a role in Les Miserables? Or maybe she just sang it to vent over heartbreak?

Why do you think the "We Can't Stop" singer posted this tune? Do you think she wants to turn it into a concert number for touring or maybe she was just having some fun?

Also, what did you think of it? Could you see Miley performing in the musical?

Earlier today, Mstars reported on Miley's inclination towards marijuana over alcohol. Here is an excerpt:

Miley Cyrus recently made a name for herself as a sexy Hollywood "wild child" (she's no longer Disney's innocent little princess)! In a recent interview with Sunday Times Style, Liam Hemsworth's fiance admits that she likes to party... with Mary Jane. Cyrus claims that she'd enjoy smoking some weed over drinking alcohol any day... marijuana leaves you less angry and sick compared to booze.

According to the 20-year-old "We Can't Stop" songstress, "When I smoke, I don't get that sick feeling I get when I drink... Or that anger rising up. There's a reason Bob Marley was like some kind of musical Rasta Mother Teresa!"
