Goodie Mob 'I'm Set': [WATCH] Strange Music Video Off New Album 'Age Against The Machine'

"I'm Set" the new music video from Goodie Mob's upcoming album Age Against The Machine is... interesting to say the least. Cee-lo and co. are surrounded by typical rap luxury (and appear to have superpowers) but the track and video are regularly interrupted crossed-signal style with images of evil and danger.

The video cuts back and forth between shots of snakes, hyenas, missles, riots and police and the Mob in fancy clothes on gold-plated thrones. The song (what we can hear of it) seems to be the same horn-filled funk we would expect from the group.

Now, a music video that juxtaposed living large with images of death and destruction would be thought-provoking enough on its own, but the fact that the music cuts out every time the video leaves Goodie Mob means that "I'm Set" doesn't even function as a music video, so whatever point Goodie Mob was trying to make, clearly they thought it was more important than a new rap song (which may, in fact, be the point).

Age Against The Machine drops August 27, presumably with a full, uninterrupted version of "I'm Set."
