Katy Perry New Single 2013: 'Prism' Singer Burns Blue Wig in 'Roar' Video Teaser [WATCH] Release Date, Farts in Front of Robert Pattinson

Katy Perry announced her new 2013 album titled Prism this past week via a gold truck driving around Los Angeles with the October 22 release date. Perry also made news recently by shooting down Robert Pattinson dating rumors with an unusual reason. John Mayer's on-again, off-again girlfriend revealed in a U.K. Elle magazine interview that she farts in front of Pattinson, so of course they can't be dating. The voice of Smurfette in "Smurfs 2" also just released a teaser video of her new single "Roar" where she lights her "Teenage Dream" blue wig on fire!

Okay, first regarding Perry's gassy confession. Perry told Elle magazine that she and Pattinson couldn't possibly be more than longtime friends because she farts in front of the "Twilight" star. "Okay, so here's the proof there was never anything going on with me and Robert Pattinson," Katy said to Elle magazine. "I fart in front of him. Properly fart. And I never, ever fart in front of a man I am dating. That's a rule."

Katy also reached out to Pattinson's ex, Kristen Stewart, so she knew that the two of them weren't anything more than friends. "I sent (Kristen) a text message saying: 'I know you've seen all this stuff but you know I would never disrespect you. I'm not that person. I'm just trying to be a friend to him but it is unfortunate that I do have a set of t--s.'"

As for Perry's new teaser video for the single "Roar." The 30-second video called "Burning Baby Blue," shows Perry lighting her famous blue wig on fire. The video also reveals the August 12 release date for "Roar." Watch the video below.
