Hinder: 'Lips of an Angel' a Testament to Marriage in America? Rock Hit Converted to a Country Tune

Hinder is a contemporary rock band that was constantly being confused for Nickelback. Now they are doing awesome, and one of their songs was even taken by a country star and converted into a country song. They have come a long way since their beginnings, and now the band is touring the country.

"Lips of an Angel" is the song that was eventually converted into a country song. The song is an unfortunate one, taking the roll of a man who is committing infidelity with his wife. His mistress calls the house and he lets her know that it is a bad idea. He talks with her letting her know that he wishes she was his wife. He tells her that she makes it hard to be faithful with his wife because of her lips being like that of an angel. It is an unfortunate song because it seems as though the marriage in it is heading for an ultimate failure, but it is something that apparently happens in society quite often.

Constantly the news rings through of someone who was unfaithful to another, and constantly the divorce rate remains high at close to 50%. It is no wonder that this song was created, something that happens this often in society needs to be brought to the attention of the public. It would appear that Hinder was the band that was willing to take on the challenge.
