Kings of Leon Release 'Supersoaker' Music Video, Heartfelt New Song 2013 'Wait For Me' [REVIEW]: 'Mechanical Bull' Now Available for Pre-Order on iTunes from 'Use Somebody' Band

After weeks of teasing, Kings of Leon have released the music video for their jangly, upbeat new single 2013 "Supersoaker." Shot through a blue-green filter and title carded with "Sentimental Girls," the Followill brothers (and cousin) rock out in the simplistic clip.

Performing in front of a simple screen with an image of a pin-up style woman laying down, the "Use Somebody" band play their instruments while nostalgic, vintage scenes pop in and out of the video. Girls and boys get ice creams at a dinner, blow bubblegum, watch movies and make out while wearing cherry red lipstick. Old school Cadillacs are sat upon while women with rag curled hair snip off buttons and chew on straws.

Wearing simple denim and T-shirt outfits, the "Supersoaker" video shows the Followills smiling and having fun playing their instrument. Their new album "Mechanical Bull" was recorded after a brief hiatus for KOL, after touring problems caused slight tension in the family band.

On the same day as the music video's world premiere, Kings of Leon's new album 2013 "Mechanical Bull" is available for pre-order. Fans who purchase the band's sixth studio album early will receive a free download of the record's second single "Wait For Me."

A tune far more slowed down and heartfelt than "Supersoaker," "Wait For Me" is a mid-tempo track filled with love, adoration and pleas for forgiveness from lead singer Caleb Followill. "Wait for me, / It's all better now," he begs in the touching chorus.

"Wait For Me" lacks the real power of KOL's smash 2008 single "Use Somebody," and is likely not to hit the charts as hard as that song did. However, it displays that in addition to feel-good, down home singles, the band still has what it takes to make music fans swoon with an earnest love song.

Kings of Leon's new album "Mechanical Bull" will be released on Sept. 24.
