Julia Roberts youngest sister, Nancy Motes said that her celebrity sister bullied her into losing the weight through a gastric bypass surgery.

Motes was tired of being known as the "Pretty Woman" actress' "fat little sister" she said, "When you're in a family of very, very exceptionally beautiful people it's intimidating."

Motes claimed that she was intimidated by her sister's Hollywood status since she was 13-years-old and learned a lot about herself inside and out while being teased by Roberts, "I think that growing up as Pretty Woman's little sister has definitely made me try to see the person inside and not the person outside. A lot of my life I felt judged for my weight."

Roberts allegedly told her sister that she was tipping the weight scale while she was in high school bluntly, "When I was in high school and she was an adult, she would just let me know that I was definitely overweight. She would make it quite clear to me and in a not so nice manner."

Motes added, "Julia did not want to see me go down that path [of acting] ... So I just got a lot of criticism from Julia, which was very discouraging for me."

Years later, Motes met her fiancé John Dilbeck and moved to Los Angeles where the taunting continued and became the final push for her to get the procedure done. According to the Daily Mail, the procedure cost Motes $20,000 in loans and her and Roberts are not on good terms. The actress' sister says she isn't sure if Roberts will attend her wedding, but claims that their relationship is being worked on, "It's a work in progress, it's not going to be fixed overnight, nor do I think it's going to be fixed by me just getting skinny."
