Selena Gomez, George Shelley Dating Rumors [VIDEO]: Union J Singer Admits 'I'll Be Really Shy' on 2013 'Star Dance' Tour Date w/ Justin Bieber's Ex-Girlfriend

Selena Gomez and Union J member George Shelley have been publicly flirting for quite some time now. Plus, Union J is supporting Selena on her upcoming "Stars Dance" tour and will be in Portugal together. The two apparently have a Portugal beach date planned during the tour but now Shelley is saying his nerves might get the best of him when it comes right down to it.

Shelley recently explained the situation to MTV UK: "She left me a video message on a show that we did just saying 'give me a call when I'm next in London,' but we're obviously going to support her in Portugal so I'm going to try to give her a call before we go."

He cheekily added: "I was like 'Hey Selena, I'll definitely give you a call and when you're ready come and get it,' and they were like cut, cut, it's a kids TV show!"

"Selena's one of those massive celebrities who doesn't even know you exist, so I was gob-smacked," Shelley said. "I thought it was a lookalike at first. I could feel my cheeks going red and the lads laughed at me."

"I will try to call Selena beforehand so it's not too awkward when we meet," he added. "My perfect date would be to go the beach at night. We could have a little bonfire."

George is definitely excited about setting up this date, but he also admits he will most likely "be really shy" when the date actually happens. He's not letting his nerves get the best of him, though: the 20-year-old also has a driving test the same day he's supposed to fly out for the show. Though he is most likely more excited to get some alone time with Gomez.
