'Star Wars 7' News [PHOTOS]: New York City Casting Call Sheet Reveals Actors Already Hired for Roles in 2015's 'Episode VII'? Who Did J.J. Abrams Choose?
A new casting call featuring three roles released to New York City agencies for 2015's Star Wars: Episode VII reveals that at least 4 parts have apparently been cast for the J.J. Abrams film. That said, new rumors of relatively unknown actors Ksenia Solo (Black Swan) and Liam McIntyre ("Spartacus") are supported by this new casting call. In fact, they could even take two of the new roles, meaning the original call sheet might be down to one role to fill now!
Here is the most recent casting call sheet released to New Yrok City agencies for Star Wars: Episode VII:
- [YOUNG MAN] Early 20s. Handsome, but not necessarily heroic. He is witty and smart. Physically fit.
- [MAN] Late 20s. Physically fit, handsome and confident.
- [YOUNG WOMAN] Late teens. Physically fit, raw energy, independent and with a great sense of humor.
Compared to the previous casting call sheet, it would appear that the following roles have been cast:
- Young 20-something male, witty and smart, fit but not traditionally good looking.
- A 70-something male, with strong opinions and tough demeanor. Also doesn't need to be particularly fit.
- A second young female, also late teens, tough, smart and fit.
- A 30-something male, intellectual. Apparently doesn't need to be fit.
Who do you think were cast in these roles?
According to Jedi News these new names thrown into the mix, Ksenia Solo and Liam McIntyre, are up for or have already been cast as the daughter of Princess Leia and Han Solo and a Jedi, respectfully. If anything, Ksenia already has the same last name as the character she is rumored to be cast as! Or do you think some gossip sites just got confused with her last name?
We recently found out that the rumors about Star Trek Into Darkness villain Benedict Cumberbatch suiting up as a Sith Lord in the new Star Wars movies were untrue. Who would you like to see playing the film's protagonist?
