Ed Sheeran, Ellie Goulding Hooked Up? 'Lego House' Singer Admits 'Normal People Don't Hold Hands If They're Just Friends,' WATCH Video

So did he or didn't he? Pop Crush reports that after Ed Sheeran and Ellie Goulding were caught holding hands at the 2013 MTV VMA's, rumors started to swirl as to whether they were dating or hooked up. Sheeran was recently interviewed by Click 98.9 radio station and he was asked about what is going on with the two popular singers. Although Sheeran didn't actually come out and say that he and Goulding hooked up, his answers are leading some to believe that the two did in fact get physical together. Sheeran was asked about the photos of him and Goulding showing them holding hands at the 2013 MTV VMA's. "Normal people don't hold hands if they're just friends," Sheeran responded. The guy interviewing Sheeran clearly recognized that some hot celebrity hook up news might have been just revealed as he looked into the camera asking, "What just happened there?"

If Sheeran's first comment wasn't enough for people to read in between the lines, Sheeran then said in regards to he and Goulding holding hands, "It was going on, and now it's not." However, whatever was going on and is now not going on didn't seem to ruin how Sheeran looks at Goulding. "She's a really cool girl and she's very talented," Sheeran said. "She's had a number one single for three weeks in England now. It's all going well."
