[EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW] Love and Hip Hop ATL: Promise B Mae Talks About Mimi Faust Beef, Stevie J Diss Track, Pregnancy, And Confirms Reality Show Casting? [VIDEO]
"Love and Hip Hop Atlanta" may have a new reality star joining the cast to stir some drama while keeping it real. Promise B Mae made headlines about her brief relationship and pregnancy with Stevie J and MStars News spoke to the RUMORED new reality show member and got the scoop of her moving forward away from Stevie J and her new beef with Mimi Faust.
After a falling out with a close friend, Promise's pregnancy with Stevie J leaked on the net confirming their affair while he was in a relationship with Joseline Hernandez. Although, Promise says she hasn't spoken to him since the news broke, Promise explained why she wanted to end her pregnancy.
"Unfortunately, I'm no longer pregnant. That's a decision I thought long and hard about and I just felt like this is not the situation. Although, I am a grown woman and I should of thought about that before we did what we did... but things happened and I'm only human."
Fans of the show immediately attacked the aspiring rapper and believed she was exploiting Stevie J for money, which she denies.
"I make my own money and a lot of people on Twitter and Instagram say ridiculous stuff like 'Oh yea you better get him for child support,' I don't have time for that, I make my own money and been doing that, so I don't need nobody for no money. I have a lot of things going on. First and foremost I'm a music artist, and I just didn't think this wasn't the right time."
A few months ago the rapper released a diss track titled "Stevie" dissing Joseline's Hernandez's and her alleged new husband. Although, everyone took the jabs as a direct hit to the reality stars, Promise explained that the track was never intended to "diss" Stevie J.
"The song was not meant to be diss track. Now the guy that I have on the track with me is a long time friend and we go way back, he's like a brother to me" she continued, "I heard what he said and I said 'oh s--t, this finna make it diss track.' Although, I threw jabs a Joseline it wasn't suppose to be a diss track towards Stevie J, But when my homeboy laid down what he laid down I couldn't say no don't do that because that's kind of like my brother and I was just like 'F-k it' lets take it all the way."
Recently, the circle of drama gotten bigger for Promise after Mimi did an interview with Atlanta radio show "The Streetz Morning Grind" where she addressed Promise and told her to "keep my name out your mouth... He [Stevie J] told you he'll, make you a star on Twitter and you cocked your legs opened and got pregnant."
Promise didn't take the comments lightly and fired a few rounds back at the reality star.
"No boo-boo, I do not know you. And you do not know me either and I don't understand how your going to go on an radio show and say 'leave me name out your mouth because you don't know me', but at the same time my name is in your mouth and it shouldn't be. Don't you have new Ni-a and his name is Niko-Niko and why are you worried about anything Stevie has going on and your not with him anymore. So sit your old ass down and get in a rocking chair like a grandma should and shut the F-k up. Just like your Ni-a said 'you're damaged goods' and you belong on a shelf somewhere all by your lonesome. You don't want it with me, I'm not hard to find and leave my name out your mouth!"
MStars News recently broke a story about Promise potentially taking a major role on the LHHATL cast from our sources close to the VH1 show's producers and although the rapper did not confirm or deny the big news she did admit that she was approached for the show,
"I definitely see myself on a reality show. Have I been contacted by any reality shows? What I can say is -YES. I have been contacted by a few people from Love and Hip Hop and the only thing I can say about that is that you have to stay tuned to see what happens.
