Tupac Biopic Gets Closer To Production

That Tupac biopic that has bounced in and out of development hell for years is one step closer to being a reality. Morgan Creek and Emmit Furla Films have signed off on the film and are working with Tupac's mother to bring the story of her late son's life to the screen. Ms. Shakur is one of six producers on the project.

Beyond a list of production credits, no one else is attached to the film that was, at one time, set to be directed by master of inner-city grime Antoine Fuqua.

Tupac is set to begin filming in Atlanta in 2014, ushering in a thousand more years of people claiming Tupac Shakur was the greatest rapper to ever live, when he wasn't even the greatest rapper in his own beef (not sayin', jus' sayin').

What do you think of the news that a Tupac biopic is finally making its way toward the theater?
