'Vampire Diaries' Season 5 Spoilers [VIDEO]: Nina Dobrev Teases New Episodes and Damon/Elena Romance Updates, 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' Airs Soon!

Season five of the CW's hit series "The Vampire Diaries" starts in just a few weeks, but that just means there is plenty of time for more hints and spoilers to make the rounds. The season premiere, entitled "I Know What You Did Last Summer," is apparently overflowing with plenty of action, romance and intrigue that will surely please fans of the show.

Series star Nina Dobrev recently shared the following information:

"One of the big obstacles [for them], especially for Damon, is to make sure he doesn't f*** it up because he has a tendency to do that whether he means to or not. He's going to try to be on his best behavior and Elena is going to embrace him, but she knows who he is and sometimes that comes to the surface and reminds her."

She added: "But they'll try to figure it out because love prevails and they want their love to conquer all. They have gone through so much to get to where they are now."

Meanwhile, Ian Somerhalder recently opened up about not being cast in the Fifty Shades of Grey film adaptation. In a recent interview with HuffPost Live, Somerhalder said he was not upset after not being offered the role of Christian Grey after months of speculation and online petitions in his favor. He was mainly just happy about the support he got from fans.

"It's so funny, you read all these blogs that say, 'Ian Somerhalder angry, livid, he's not in 50 Shades of Grey.' I mean -- no, no, no. There's none of that," Ian revealed.
