Miley Cyrus, Mumford & Sons 'Little Wrecking Ball' Mashup Goes Viral: YouTube User Mixes 'Little Lion Man' with 'Bangerz' Single for Shockingly Successful New Song [VIDEO]
Miley Cyrus and Mumford & Sons may seem as though they're on the opposite side of the musical spectrum nowadays, but a new mashup viral video has blended the two of the popular artists' biggest hits together, and the result is shockingly excellent.
YouTube mashup artist isosine mixed together the vocals of Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball" with Mumford & Sons' "Little Lion Man" instrumentation for the fittingly titled "Little Wrecking Ball."
The mashup recalls earlier music from Cyrus, when the now urban-loving singer was more inspired by her Nashville roots. The highly emotional, powerful banjo and guitar riffs of "Little Lion Man" perfectly highlight the heartbreaking vocals and lyrics of "Wrecking Ball." Sometimes, in the height of the chorus, the harmonies blend into an explosion of sound that makes the banjo seem like a perfect accompaniment for the 20-year-old singer.
The video also brings together elements from Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball" (the close up, Sinead O'Connor-inspired shots) with interpretive dancers diving and writhing on the floor.

Miley Cyrus' single "Wrecking Ball" comes from her upcoming fourth studio album "Bangerz" as the second single (preceded by "We Can't Stop").
Meanwhile, Mumford & Sons are taking a break from music for a while to recover from their latest album "Babel" and their extensive touring, which included Gentlemen of the Road stopovers across North America.
"Little Wrecking Ball" is by no means the first mashup for isosine, who has also mixed together acts like Justin Bieber with Slipknot and Metric with Ellie Goulding.
