DJ Premier, Nas To Work On Full Album Together
Maybe he can finally break that "one good album every 10 years average." (Ed. Note: Haters, please direct your attention to the comment section below). DJ Premier says that he will be working with Nas on a full-length collaborative project. The force behind the best Illmatic tracks dropped the news at the A3C festival in Atlanta.
"It's coming," said Premier about a future joint album with the Queens emcee. Premier goes on to say that Nas has one more album left on his Def Jam contract and after that the two creators of tracks like "N.Y. State of Mind," "Nas Is Like," and "2nd Childhood" will get in the studio to record a Premo-produced Nas LP.
Previous work from Premier includes every hip-hop album you've ever loved All of the "Vol." Jay-Z albums, D'Angelo's Voodoo, Gang Starr's discography and some of KRS-One's greatest solo output.
No doubt the collaboration between the two can't produce anything worse than what Nas has become. (Feel the hate inside of you, harness it).
I leave you with one final note:
