The Walking Dead Season 4 SPOILERS: Season's 'New Threat' Revealed In First Episode, Possible Maggie, Glenn Wedding?

Season 4 of AMC's "The Walking Dead" will present fans with some changed circumstances and a new threat to Rick Grimes and his allies. A new threat will emerge to wreak havoc on our heroes and, luckily, we don't have to wait too long to find out the identity of the threat.

The "Spoiler Chat" column at E! Online reveals the following about the new Big Bad:

"Rebecca: Digging your Walking Dead Countdown this week! Everyone keeps talking about this "new threat". Do we have to wait long to see what it is?

You will know by the end of the first episode, so...Nope! The new threat will be (sorta) revealed in week one. The season premiere is pretty fantastic, BTW, and while Rick's storyline is quite frankly a wee bit snooze-worthy (he goes for a walk in the woods, and meets a woman...zzzzz) it does have a twist and will shed light on what version of Rick we are getting this season. (Hint: Someone suggests he buy overalls and chew on a little hay.)"

So Rick might become a farmer? Sounds odd, but "The Walking Dead" is nothing if not unique.

Season 3 featured the engagement of Maggie and Glenn, and fans began to wonder if wedding bells could be on the horizon for the two. Lauren Cohan, who plays Maggie, told TVLine that the engagement came about because "they went through the very really possibility of losing each other in the most horrific circumstances...they feel like they have given their bonds to each other."

But the prospect of a wedding may not necessarily mesh with a world where zombies roam about freely.

"Whether there is a wedding or not, we'll see," Cohan said. "It's going to be really interesting to see if something that's sacred is safer or it's more dangerous because of how much they mean to each other."
