'Carrie' 2013 Film Soundtrack Features Vampire Weekend, Haim: Modern Indie Rock Highlights Stephen King Horror Film Remake [FULL TRACKLIST]
There's nothing better in this world that a little bit of psychological horror, blood and indie rock! The artists and songs for the soundtrack to the upcoming horror film "Carrie" have been announced, and the 12-song album is full of the best of indie music today.
Artists such as Haim, Vampire Weekend and The Civil Wars contributed songs to the modern soundtrack.

If you couldn't tell by the modern indie rock soundtrack, "Carrie" is a 2013 remake of the Stephen King horror classic, which tells the story of the psychologically and physically abused teenager, who discovers she has telepathic powers. Upon being voted prom queen as a practical joke, she destroys her high school gym in the thrilling climax.
"Carrie" stars Chloe Grace Moretz as the title character and Julianne Moore as her mother, Margaret.
The film will be released Oct. 18. The soundtrack will come out three days later, Oct. 15.
