Kanye West, Jimmy Kimmel Interview [FULL VIDEO]: Talks Kim Kardashian Deserving A Star, 'I'm A Genius,' And Chicago Drug Dealers Extorting Him

Jimmy Kimmel and Kanye West hugged and made up last night on the "Jimmy Kimmel Live" after a Twitter rant about Fallon's segment "Kanye Kid Re-Kreation" where he spoofed West's BBC interview.

West explained to Kimmel why he was upset because after meeting him he thought that Kimmel understood where he was coming from and encouraged him to be who he was. The interview between the two men seemed very cordial and civilized and West said, "I'm totally weird and totally honest and I'm totally inappropriate sometimes, and the thing is for me not to say I'm not a genius I'd be lying to you and to myself."

Kimmel told the rapper if he "I don't know if you know this, but a lot of people think you're a jerk, The TV personality added, "When you said you think you're a genius, I think that upsets people. But the truth is a lot of people think they're geniuses, but nobody says it because it's weird to say it. But it is most certainly more honest to say, 'I am a genius.'"

While the "All Falls Down" rapper tried to explain why he is being criticized, he threw his girlfriend, Kim Kardashian into the conversation claiming that his baby mama was denied a star on the walk-of-fame because she is a reality star, "I want to shout out to stars of the Walk of Fame real quickly cause they said something about they're not going to put my girl on the walk of fame because, you know, she's a reality star. It's like people are so, so dated. There's no way that Kim Kardashian shouldn't have a star on the Walk of Fame."
