Daniel Radcliffe, 'Harry Potter' Return?: J.K. Rowling's 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them' Could Lead to Wizard Role Reprisal, Cameo
J.K. Rowling and Warner Bros. recently announced the Rowling-penned film Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, which is set in her iconic Harry Potter universe. Though this new film project is incredibly intriguing for fans, many assumed that the main characters from the original series would not be returning. So when Daniel Radcliffe was asked about the project and admitted he thought of a cameo, it was surprising news!
In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Radcliffe spoke about the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them project, revealing that he is as in the dark as everyone else is in regards to it.
"I never know what Jo [Rowling] is going to write, but at the moment I'm in the same position that everyone else is in - waiting to hear what information is coming out because I don't know anything about these new films."
He also talked about reprising the role that made him who he is today.
"I don't think I'm going to be coming back," he said. "We can't be doing these characters when we're 40, so there has to be a line drawn."
That said, the young actor still isn't ruling out the possibility considering he knows Rowling could pull it off.
"If time travel rears its head again, I'll be intrigued to see what she does," he hinted.
If you can remember, time travel does exist in the Harry Potter universe, so there is definitely a chance for Radcliffe's return.
Do you think we'll see Radcliffe as Potter in this new fim?
