It must be quite an exciting feeling to get when a well known, high profile celebrity moves into your town. Someone like Taylor Swift, for instance, who recently moved to Westerly, Rhode Island, earlier this year. How would you ever welcome such a big name to town in a way that would stand out and make an impression? One Rhode Island native decided that the answer to that question was creating a cornfield maze of Taylor's name. Did you have the same idea? Sorry!

Richard Manfredi, owner of Manfredi farms, spelled out "Welcome Taylor" into one of his cornfields. A guitar is also included in the message. Manfredi says they "carefully measured the rows, bent the corn stocks and with a mower they slowly but surely finished," according to ABC 6 News. He also mentioned that he is quite pleased with the outcome.

Manfredi explained that his corn maze construction was just an act of a "good neighbor." He said he wants Taylor to feel welcomed in Rhode Island.

The finished product is an 8-acre, Swift-themed maze through the field and it is open to the public with an $8 admission fee.

Check out this aerial view photograph of the maze taken from Facebook:

What do you think of this corn maze? Would you want to try it out next time you're in Rhode Island? How do you think Taylor will react to it? Do you think this was the best way to welcome Taylor? Let us know in the comments section!
